Stem Repair: 1. Turn off the water source. 2. Remove the screw and handle. 3. Remove the valve stem cap. 4. Unthread and turn the stem counterclockwise to remove it. 5. Replace the 3 items. 6. Reassemble the hydrant.

Vacuum Breaker Repair: 1. Turn off the water. 2. Use a flat head screwdriver to lift up and remove the old cap. 3. Unthread the bonnet. 4. Remove the old parts. 5. Reassemble the new parts and thread in the bonnet. 6. Replace the cap.
